The EPA has recently finalized its residual risk and technology review of two industrial source categories that are regulated by national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants.
The two standards are entitled, National Emissions Standards for Shipbuilding and Ship Repair (Surface Coating) and National Emissions Standards for Wood Furniture Manufacturing Operations.
The EPA has also revised various regulatory provisions in regards to emissions, especially during malfunction, start up, and shutdown periods.
The final action has been effective since Nov. 21, 2011.
