The EPA will accept all comments in regards to its NSPS revision suggestions until Nov. 28, 2011.
The EPA has recently recommended various revisions regarding new source performance standards (NSPS) for nitric acid plants.
The suggested revisions include a change to the current nitrogen oxides (NOX) emission limit, which pertains to all nationwide nitric acid production units that are altered, developed or reconstructed after Oct. 14, 2011.
Each of these revisions include an array of supplementary testing and monitoring requirements.
The EPA will accept all comments in regards to this proposal and its NSPS revision suggestions until Nov. 28, 2011.
