The EPA has just released the draft of a document entitled, Second External Review Draft Integrated Science Assessment for Lead.
The document, which was written by the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA), will be reviewed by the Clean Act Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC), as well as the general public.
Any comments submitted by the public will be considered as the document is edited and finalized while the EPA determines whether or not changes will need to be implemented to current lead in the air rules.
The public may submit their comments from Feb. 2, 2012 to April 2, 2012.
