Vacuum liquid dosing system

The Trent vacuum liquid dosing system, originally designed for the sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) market, has been re-engineered for comprehensive use in chloramination systems for potable water production facilities and chlorination/dechlorination processes for WTP effluent streams. The system provides an accurate means of proportioning NaOCl and sodium bisulfite.

Coating extends cooler's life

The core on this heat exchanger is coated with an epoxy phenolic that will add years to its expected service life. The unit will be used to cool corrosive landfill gases before they enter a carbon filter. Cooling condenses the vapors so they do not plug the carbon filter. The unit uses ambient cooling air that is drafted over the finned core by an electric fan.

Conductivity and pH all-in-one

The CCMD510 combined pH and conductivity meter features all the capabilities of bench pH and conductivity instruments, within the same case. Main benefits of the instrument include programmable functions such as stability, electrode diagnosis and auto buffer recognition. The electrode also has a built-in ATC designed for minimal air bubble entrapment during measurement.

Add contents to make ClO2

Throw TowerSafe™ in water to activate and generate a specific ppm of ClO2, or just hang it in a room to be activated by humidity. The packets generate ClO2 for microbiological control in open or closed HVAC systems/cooling towers, and can replace the need for antidispersents. The chemical penetrates biofilm, remediating for Legionalla.

Analytical reference materials

Sampling for airborne carbonyl compounds in EPA Method TO-11A and other methods is based on a reaction between the target compounds and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) coated on a silica gel adsorbent. Restek offers a 15-component aldehyde/ketone-DNPH calibration mix to meet the needs of investigators analyzing only for formaldehhyde.
