Register published a notice of availability for the agency's proposed
transport rule, which would replace CAIR.
The agency has placed its data in the docket for the proposed rule. It can be accessed at Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2009-0491. It includes additional information relevant to the rulemaking, including updated emissions inventory data for 2005, 2012 and 2014 for several stationary and mobile source inventory components.
The data revisions reflect new approaches to calculating emissions inventories for specific source categories, and related new information and models that have become available since the emissions data were developed and modeled for the proposed rule.
