Researchers at the Ernest Orlando Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California, Berkeley, have invented a series of miniature devices for measuring and identifying particle mass. The devices enable robust assessments of particulate matter exposure on health and more efficient monitoring of occupational and industrial settings. The DoE lab is seeking an industry partner interested in licensing or collaboratively researching these technologies. - Berkeley, Calif. - (510) 486-6467 - www.lbl.gov/tt
