On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, NSF International Strategic
Registrations Ltd. and The Climate Registry agreed to host a series of regional
climate policy forums throughout the U.S. and Canada. Five regional forums
entitled "Thriving in the New Carbon Economy" will discuss carbon
management and reporting practices necessary to comply with climate change
regulations.
The first regional forum will be held on Tuesday-Wednesday, March 16-17 in New York City. The other forums will be held throughout the year in Atlanta (May 19-20), Chicago (June 22-23), Seattle (July 22-23) and Vancouver (Oct. 13-14).
NSF Environmental Health & Safety Manager John Mequio will introduce the keynote speaker at the Northeast Forum in New York. An environmental professional with over 23 years of experience, Mequio has successfully managed and executed environmental and safety related initiatives all over the world.
