Electronic Data Management in the Bayou

The Louisiana DEQ announced in a press release that is implementing an analytical data management system for the state. Called the Louisiana Environmental Analytical Data Management System (LEADMS), with the new system, the state will request that analytical data be submitted electronically in the form of Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs). The DEQ has adopted a specific format for accepting the EDDs. By implementing electronic submittals, the DEQ believes it will be able to streamline data submittal, review and assessment, according to the release.

This website provides data submitters with tools and resources to help facilitate getting the data in the correct format.

Each data submitter must complete a Subscriber's Agreement Form before he/she will be able to submit data electronically. Below is the link to the subscriber's agreement which must be completed, signed and mailed to:

Remediation Services Division
Attn: LEADMS Help Desk
P.O. Box 4314
Baton Rouge, LA 70821-4314

When the LEADMS Help Desk has processed the subscriber's agreement, applicants will be provided with all the information they need to submit data electronically. This includes data format guidance, instructions for downloading the data checker application, and user manual.
