The EPA has released its annual report card, which was
delivered to President Bush and Congress on Nov. 17. The 2008
Performance and Accountability Report report describes EPA's
environmental and financial progress over the past year, and highlights the
agency's efforts in air pollution, water quality, Superfund, pesticide and
chemical evaluation, and enforcement actions in fiscal year 2008.
The report is required by the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 and other management-related statutes.
