EPA Region 5 today ordered three southeastern Illinois oil producers to submit information on their oil production operations within 15 days, according to a recent agency release.

The companies are Loeb Oil Co., Route 1 Country Club Road, Lawrenceville; Little D Drilling Inc., RR 1, Box 45, Saint Francisville; and Three Star Drilling and Producing Corp., 201 S. Christy, Sumner.

According to the release, the agency alleged the companies violated the Clean Air Act by failing to answer requests for information issued last November.
