On March 20, 2008, the EPA launched a new Risk Assessment Portal to assist the public with understanding the elements of what a risk assessment is all about. The portal provides technical information on risk, and bridges the gap in general risk assessment concepts and terminology across related EPA web pages. The site is available at www.epa.gov/risk.
