Officials at the 15th International Trade Fair for Water, Sewerage and Recycling, better known as IFAT 2008, have announced that the conference is expanding to 192,000 square meters (over 2 million sq. feet), an increase of 22,000 square meters over IFAT 2005. The number of exhibitors signed up for the event has also risen by 18 percent. In 2005, there were 2,223 exhibitors from 36 countries and 109,000 visitors from 166 nations in attendance.
