The
U.S. ETV Advanced Monitoring Systems (AMS) Center, operated by Battelle, is
currently working with ETV Canada to develop a joint verification protocol. In
April 2007, the AMS Center published a generic verification protocol for rapid
soil toxicity technologies (see www.epa.gov/etv/pubs/600etv07011.pdf). The
protocol is now being revised in collaboration with ETV Canada. It is planned
that the new protocol will include procedures for joint verification of soil
toxicity technologies by both programs. The protocol is anticipated to be
published this spring. Questions or comments can be directed to Mary Schrock,
Battelle, at (614) 424-4976 or schrock@battelle.org.
