Milestones in the industry...

Duecker


Ron Duecker has been appointed president of JWC Environmental, Costa Mesa, Calif., and will oversee operations in the U.S. and abroad. He will oversee the continued development of the Monster family of products as well as further development of equipment for headworks, pump stations, septage receiving and sludge applications.

Sadlowski

Dennis Sadlowski has been named president and CEO Siemens Energy and Automation Inc., Atlanta, effective July 1. Sadlowski succeeds Aubert Martin, 64, who is retiring after 40 years with the company.

Mulkey

Barbara H. Mulkey of Mulkey Engineers & Consultants, Raleigh, N.C., has been named to the North Carolina State University (NCSU) board of trustees. The board is comprised of 13 people who each serve one four-year term. Mulkey’s term will begin on July 1. “I am very passionate about NC State, and about education in general. This is an exciting opportunity for me to give back to the institution that has given so much to me over the years,” said Mulkey. Barbara started her own firm, Mulkey Engineers & Consultants, in 1993.

Arlott

Colin Arlott has been appointed general manager of Industrial Scientific Europe. Arlott will be responsible for all manufacturing operations, sensor production and fulfillment services surrounding the company’s program. With an extensive background in modern manufacturing, Arlott specializes in the implementation of cellular and lean manufacturing methods.

Bellehumeur

Tracy Bellehumeur has joined The Adventus Group, Boulder, Colo., as a hydrogeological engineer, based out of the company’s Colorado office. Bellehumeur has eight years of experience in environmental hydrogeology and groundwater modeling. She has contributed to projects in the area of groundwater flow system characterization, including porous and fractured flow and transport modeling in the saturated and unsaturated zone, density-dependent groundwater flow, optimization of remedial systems, simulation of pit lakes, and underground mine workings. Her academic accomplishments include an M.Sc. with First Class Honors in Geological Engineering (Hydrogeology) from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a B.Sc. with Honors in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Gilmour

Dennis M. Gilmour has been promoted to president of Stedman, Aurora, Ind. Gilmour has been with the company for nearly 30 years, starting in 1978 as a sales engineer. Since his hire, Gilmour has held such positions as district sales supervisor, sales manager, vice president sales & marketing and senior vice president.

Watson

Russ Watson has been named director of sales for Mactec Engineering and Consulting Inc.’s recently renamed Facility Lifecycle Management (FLM) Services, a facilities asset management software and services operating group. Watson is based in the company’s Kennesaw, Ga. office. Prior to his promotion, Watson was the company’s business unit leader for facility asset management services and a national client account manager for General Motors Worldwide Facilities Group, where he was instrumental in authoring a facilities white paper that led to the development of their facility sustainment initiative.
