Battelle recently held their biennial meeting in Baltimore entitled the 9th In-Situ and On-Site Bioremediation Symposium. The final program consisted of 250 platform and 235 poster presentations from academia, industry and researchers from around the globe. The event was attended by 950 people with 20 percent of them from outside the United States. Additionally, there were 56 exhibitors there to answer questions and demonstrate their capabilities.

The next planned event is the 6th Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds in May 2008. Visit www.battelle.org for further information.
