July Product Spotlight: Heat Exchangers

Industrial Heat Exchangers

The Thermo-T tubular heat exchanger was designed to recover energy from industrial processes at temperatures up to 2000˚F, with up to 80-percent effectiveness. Built to handle high-temperatures and corrosive environments, Thermo-T can be constructed with a variety of materials to best suit each application. Construction materials include 304L/316L/309S/310 stainless steels, C-276, 800HT and nickel alloys such as 600/601/625.

Packaged Thermal Oxidizers

The PTO 10000 is an economical option for VOC/HAPS control that offer many options normally not found on units of its size. The pre-assembled, modular design, reduces installation time and expense, and with its 98-percent destruction efficiency and 95-percent heat exchanger efficiency, the oxidizer is one of the most affordable RTO units on the market.

Wet Electrostatic Precipitator System

The Environmental and Energy Systems Group of Dürr Systems offers wet electrostatic precipitators (WESPs) in both up and down flow configurations. The WESP increases the effectiveness of VOC control systems by preventing solids from plugging or blinding RTO heat recovery media. Depending on the configuration these systems may include quench, pre-treatment, scrubber or rinsing sections.
