Water filter uses dirt to enhance cleanliness

Recent studies have shown that the accumulation of dirt in a screen filter actually improves the efficiency of the filter. As the solids accumulate on the screen, the particles form a layer, or "cake" of dirt on the surface, providing a finer mesh than the original screen itself. Particles smaller than the original screen aperture can then be retained, improving efficiency. Self-cleaning water filters by Orival Inc. provide an ideal solution for cooling systems, equipment protection and wastewater. Line pressure powered, the filter cleans itself without external power, and does not interrupt system flow. Installs easily in any position, even upside down.

When to use EnviroPump

EnviroPumps are made from high quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in a diameter designed for use in 4-inch ID recovery wells. For those who recovering fluids that are incompatible with PVC, or are using recovery wells smaller than 4-inches in diameter, the company's standard products will not work. However, they are perfect for recovery of groundwater impacted by petroleum, chlorinated solvents, or most of the usual environmental culprits.

Corrosion-Resistant Pressure Switch

The Plast-O-Matic Series SWT Pressure Switch features a NEMA 4X all-plastic enclosure with no wetted metals or elastomers. The switch can be used to activate or de-activate equipment when pressure in a piping system either rises or falls to a set pressure. Liquid in the piping system acts against a PTFE diaphragm, which triggers an electrical switch within the upper chamber of the unit. Spring pressure is set by simply threading the adjusting screw in or out, with a maximum setting of 150 psi.
