The Local Government Environmental Assistance Network has announced the availability of a booklet, "Strategic Planning: A Handbook for Small Water Systems" for small drinking water systems needing instruction on how strategic planning can help them better meet public expectations and regulatory requirements while maintaining organizational and financial stability.

The booklet includes worksheets to assist systems in the strategic planning process.
