Operate 3-phase motors from single-phase power

The Add-a-Phase phase converter, first introduced in 1952, operates three-phase pump or blower motors from single-phase power in wastewater lift stations and treatment facilities when three-phase power is either unavailable or prohibitively expensive to install. The autotransformer-capacitor type converter is very efficient and ideal for operating automated, constant load applications, specifically pumps and blowers.
