The people in pollution industries

•Charles Antal has joined D¿rr Environmental, Plymouth, Mich., as regional sales manager for the company’s Eastern and Central divisions. Antal brings more than 30 years of experience in the capital equipment business, with the last 16 years focusing on D¿rr process equipment. Sean Gribbon has joined D¿rr Environmental as aftermarket sales manager. Sean brings 21 years of experience in the capital equipment business, with an emphasis on air pollution control equipment and process equipment.

• Joseph Colella has been named general manager of the Oak Ridge, Tenn., office of Tetra Tech NUS, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tetra Tech, Inc. Colella brings more than 30 years experience, including 20 years in engineering design and project management, specializing in the civil and geotechnical fields.

• Sonny Callahan, the former U.S. Representative, R-Ala., has joined Dawson & Associates, Washington, D.C. Callahan, who retired in January after 18 years in Congress, is the fourth consecutive former chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development to join the firm. Callahan is expected to add to Dawson’s expertise in natural resources, environmental, energy, infrastructure and water policy issues.

• Mike Dimitriou has been appointed as manager of product development for the Sanitaire Filtration Division of Sanitaire, the Brown Deer, Wis., division of ITT Industries, Inc. Dimitriou will spearhead activities in membrane bioreactor and secondary effluent filtration product development. Neil Woodworth has been named director, human resources and EHS. Woodworth will manage all human resources and EHS responsibilities for Sanitaire on a global basis. He brings more than 25 years of human resources and EHS experience to Sanitaire.

• John Naso has been named president and managing principal of Leggette, Brashears & Graham, Inc. (LBG), Trumbull, Conn. Previously an LBG vice president, Naso has been with the firm since 1978.

• Steven Peterson has joined EPCON Industrial Systems LP, The Woodlands, Texas, as president & COO. Peterson brings more than 30 years of thermal processing and environmental capital goods expertise, along with significant management and international business experience.

• Mark Simon has joined CASTion, Ludlow, Mass., as director of engineering, a newly created position. Simon joins the company following 15 years of wastewater industry engineering experience, most recently at KWI North America.

• William Taylor and Chad Tuttle have been named to key marketing posts for the Process Products Division of the Industrial Products Group (IPG) of ITT Industries, Seneca Falls, New York. Taylor was named vice president, marketing and business development. He joined IPG from Delta Companies Consolidated Inc., where he was president. Tuttle was promoted to the position of director, business development for the Process Products Division.
