Eric Carlson, Brian Dooley, Helen Priola and Thomas Scelfo, Q.E.P., have been promoted to senior vice presidents and shareholders at Woodard & Curran. Carlson, with more than 17 years of experience in civil engineering and hydrogeology, has worked on beverage industry projects such as the development of new spring water sites and the design of bottling plant process, mechanical and utility systems. Dooley, with 20-plus years of experience in environmental consulting and engineering, helped develop Woodard & Curran’s client base throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic region. Priola brings more than 21 years of civil engineering experience. She has worked on numerous projects for state authorities, including the Metropolitan District Commission, the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, and the Narragansett Bay Commission. Scelfo’s 29-year career in environmental engineering has focused on regulatory compliance and hazardous waste issues. He has been involved with air pollution control and permitting; regulatory compliance audits and training; hazardous and industrial waste incineration; and site investigation and remediation.
Hilary S. Kesseler has joined Vortechnics as office coordinator. David O. Pierce has been named financial controller and a member of the company’s management team. Pierce was formerly with Tom’s of Maine where most recently he served as product supply finance team leader. He is a member of the Institute for Management Accountants and the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Kim West has been named marketing and communications manager.
Andrew Maul, MS, PE, has joined Jeff Zell Consultants, a full-service testing, inspection and engineering firm. Maul brings more than 11 years of environmental permitting, auditing, training, reporting, design and engineering experience to head Zell’s Environmental Services Department.
