Smart MSDS reporting

A V Systems recently introduced MSDSmart, a solution for MSDS authoring, distribution, management and compliance reporting. MSDSmart is a web-based system for electronic MSDS exchange. The program extracts information from the MSDS and automatically integrates it into a chemical tracking database without the necessity of data entry. It automatically updates its chemical tracking database and continually checks for revisions on-line.

Dolphin releases fully-integrated program

Dolphin Software Inc. released its Material Request and Approval module (MRAP) from Comply Plus Web. The module represents a great starting point in the formal chemical approval process as well as for ongoing chemical management. It provides closed loop feedback between a requestor of hazardous materials and the EHS professional assessing the request, offering direct response and cross-platform information distribution. MRAP is tightly integrated with all other existing modules in Dolphin's popular Comply Plus Web product, enabling users to enter valuable data, then make that data available to other system programs.

BinderView can be configured from a number of sort and search options, including product name, manufacturer, product number, CAS number, facility or select product groups. It can also generate safety labels, MSDS summary sheets and backup CD-ROM copies of the MSDS database, and plugs into MSDSonline's web database of more than one million indexed and searchable MSDSs.
