MSA introduces coiled probe for Orion G

The Orion G Multigas and Leak Detector from the MSA Instrument Division is now available with a coiled probe. Because of its ability to expand and contract as needed, the coiled probe provides increased flexibility and ease of use. Geotech bladder pump: an original

Modules communicate in Modbus protocol

The D5000M series of four-channel analog input smart data acquisition modules communicates using the Modbus RTU protocol. Combining wide-range analog input signal conditioning, A/D conversion and output data RS-232 or RS-485, the modules allow sensors to be interfaced to any computer or processor-based equipment that contains a serial port.

Free span gas calculator for monitoring applications

The Environmental Products group of Scott Specialty Gases has produced a span gas concentration selection chart that can be used to quickly estimate span gas concentration ranges. The convenient selection wheel uses current EPA specifications for Method 10 (CO), Method 6C (SO2), Method 7E (NOx), Method 3A (O2/CO2), Method 20 (NOx/SO2), Method 25A (THC) and Part 75. Calibration ranges include from one to 50,000 ppm. A copy of the chart may be obtained by contacting the company.
