Many Sample Streams, Just One Sequencer

Introducing a new line of Multi-Stream Sequencers designed specifically for online power plant instruments that can share analyzers among multiple sample streams. The sequencers can accommodate up to eight incoming sample streams for use within a single analyzer (batch or continuously). The sequencers are PLC-controlled and feature adjustable sample dwell, delay and cycle length. They can be run in manual or automatic operation. Concentration adjustment features provide additional acclimation periods when cycling between samples of vastly differing concentrations and includes a stream bypass function. Compact LCD displays with membrane keypad and remote stream indication contacts are utilized by plant DCS to determine the origin of the measurement signal.

A Jolt of Java for FacTS API

Remarkable reliability, efficiency, customization, cross-platform use, and a friendly user interface can all be had in one slender program. Quantum Compliance Systems' Java Thin-Client Applications were developed to expose the existing FacTS business logic and database to the Java platform, allowing Quantum to leverage Servlet technology to dynamically generate programs like HTML web pages. In addition, the API manages a number of service tasks like logging and connection pooling. The browser-based nature of the Java programs allow for enterprise-wide rollout. Data is stored in a central FacTS database and all existing reports and listings in the FacTS product can be used against data entered through the Java front-end.

Visual Natural Attenuation Tool

ENSSI SEQUENCE is an innovative visualization tool that uses a unique approach for evaluating the effects of natural attenuation based on a modified radial diagram methods. This visual aid may be used to simultaneously show spatial and temporal trends for multiple organic pollutants on one site map. Such a map may provide the primary line of evidence needed to support natural attenuation for a site remedy. SEQUENCE-Redox Maps are used to identify trends in geochemical indicators (including electron acceptors and metabolic by-products).
