Back by popular demand: the names and faces this month in pollution industries
Mike Purcell has been appointed National Sales Manager for North America by European pressure safety system supplier, Elfab. Purcell will focus on developing the company's North American Sales Network.
Roger Radke has succeeded Andrew D. Seidel as USFilter CEO and head of Siemens Water Technologies. Radke, who joined USFilter as COO last August, has played integral roles within Siemens since 1989. Most recently, he served as president of Siemens Audiologische Technik GmbH.
Wastequip Inc. recently announced the appointment of Jerry Samson as vice president of sales and marketing. Samson will be responsible for coordinating and supporting all sales and marketing efforts for the company.
Dave Sanders has been appointed to the position of National Sales Director for the Voice & Data Division of Leviton Manufacturing, Little Neck, N.Y. In his new post, Sanders will lead sales operations and initiatives for the division's various strategic channels. He will also assume liaison functions between the division and the company's Corporate Distribution Sales business unit.
Robert W. Sanz, ENSR Intl.'s senior vice president and western region manager, received the prestigious 2004 Beasley Award from Wingate Partners at its recent Annual Meeting in Dallas. Named for Dr. Howard Beasley, a Wingate Advisory Board director who died of lymphoma in 1990, the award's criteria include leadership, integrity, tenacity and creativity in dealing with challenging issues.
Lou Tortora Jr. was recently appointed a vice president at Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services. He will be responsible for global sales and marketing for the company's water, waste-water and water resources projects and located in its Milwaukee office.
