Solar powered meters and samplers

American Sigma has introduced a solar power system that provides uninterrupted operation without the need to replace or recharge batteries. It is designed specifically for Model 950 Flow Meters and 900 Series Portable Samplers. Users can choose from a variety of module (panel) and battery sizes. System components include solar module, cable, mounting bracket, regulator, and gel battery. The regulator features temperature compensation for battery charging in any environmental situation and is easily adaptable for future instrument power requirements. The heavy-duty solar module frame can handle wind speeds up to 125 mph (200 Km/h). The modules use tempered low-iron glass and have an anti-reflective coating to reduce reflected light.
