Cannibal suspected of devouring biosolids

The Cannibal™ solids reduction process from USFilter Envirex Products accomplishes biosolids destruction through an interchange between the activated sludge process and the Cannibal side stream bioreactor, which continuously selects for low yield bacteria and breaks down the biosolids until they are completely destroyed. It can also be retrofitted into existing facilities or incorporated into new facility layouts.

Double wastewater treatment capacity

Kaldnes North America can upgrade an existing BOD plant into a total nitrification system or increase a nitrification plant's capacity to meet higher projected flows. The company's Moving Bed™ Biofilm Reactor process multiplies the solids inventory in a wastewater treatment system without increasing the solids load to existing clarifiers.
