Gas Detection/Air Monitoring

January 2004 Product Spotlight

Particulate emissions monitors

FilerSense's continuous particulate/dust emission monitors and baghouse leak detectors employ induction sensing and protected probe technologies invented by the company in 1994. The combination of technologies provides high reliability for applications like carbon black, smelters and spray dryers. The monitors can detect emissions before they are visible and also prevent the escape of valuable powders and protect downstream equipment such as blowers and HEPA filters.

Benzene detector tube works in tight spaces

The Gastec Extra Low Range Benzene Detector Tube No. 121SP is ideal for use in refineries where benzene is monitored as a component of gasoline and is also used in confined space entry testing of storage tanks. With a measuring range of 0.5 to 10 ppm, the tube incorporates a filter layer that attaches to its front that automatically removes aromatic hydrocarbons, other than benzene, thus insuring the user of more accurate and true benzene readings.
