October 2005 Product Spotlight

Dedicated Multifunction Hybrid Flowmeter

System 1010N provides accurate, non-intrusive mass and volumetric flow measurement in full pipes. Simple to install, no pipes are cut or operations interrupted. 1010N is field programmable for Wide-Beam™ Transit-Time or Reflexor (Fast Fourier Transform Doppler) operation for quick adaptation to changing conditions.

Municipal Flowmeter with Flow Computer

With an advanced differential pressure flow sensing design, the V2-Municipal™ Flowmeter features built-in flow conditioning for superior accuracy with minimum upstream/downstream straight-run piping requirements, which reduces installation and plant ancillary equipment costs. The flowmeter is especially useful wherever irregular or crowded piping and equipment make magnetic, turbine or venturi tube technology impractical.

Direct mA Input Control

USFilter has released a new direct mA arrangement of the automatic V-notch positioner used with its gas feed systems and automatic stroke length actuator for its metering pumps. The actuator/positioner accepts a 4-20 mA input signal directly from a remote manual control station, SCADA, or other centralized control system. No intermediate controller or signal conditioner is required, reducing costs.

Airflow Monitor for Dirty Air Streams

The AF 100 Series of air flow monitors were designed specifically for measuring air flow/velocity in high particulate processes and stacks. There are no orifices or thermal elements to clog and installation is simple with no precise alignment or calibration. Abrasion-proof probes are available for small pipes to large ducts, while non-intrusive ring sensors are available for tubing.
