Koch
Matthew Koch has joined Watershed Concepts' Kansas City, Mo., office as manager for the Midwest region. Koch brings more than 20 years of consulting experience, starting with his employment at a FEMA contractor as a staff floodplain reviewer. He also worked in project management and business development for national stormwater and floodplain management projects. Koch has had primary responsibility for project engineering, project management, staff supervision and local and national business development.

Werner Kozel has joined Pacific Crest Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., as director of engineering. Originally from Germany, Kozel holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and has completed advanced studies in industrial engineering with an emphasis in quality control. Before joining Pacific Crest, he served as vice president of operations for ISE Labs Inc., where he managed operations activities at multiple sites, including a subsidiary in Hong Kong.
