The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) has recognized SCS Engineers in awarding its annual Technical Excellence Awards for Landfill Gas Projects. Two SCS Engineers landfill gas projects at landfills managed by Waste Management Inc., of Florida, and by Bocci-Schnieder Interests, earned SWANA Gold and Silver Awards, respectively. SWANA's Awards program recognizes professionals whose contributions have stood out above all others, and is intended to encourage development of environmentally and economically sound solid waste management projects.
