MoreThe global voluntary standards development organization ASTM International has launched a new internet-based system designed to initiate, develop and track draft standards and revisions before and during their balloting stage.
The Work Item Registration system now available at ASTM's Website adds increased openness and transparency to the organization's consensus standards development process. Users can perform keyword searches to find new standards and standards revisions, sign up for free email notification of new work items in their area of interest, and view a committee's jurisdiction for a particular work item.
The system provides improved access and involvement for ASTM members at every stage of the standards development process. See www.astm.org.
