CB&I, from Woodlands, Texas, has introduced a new corporate brand identity to better reflect its expanded capabilities and global presence. The updated brand identity reflects CB&I’s evolution into a full-scope engineering, procurement and construction contractor serving a variety of markets worldwide. The company also revised its primary website address to www.CBIepc.com to highlight both its turnkey EPC contracting approach and the CB&I brand.

Ducon Technologies Inc., Farmingdale, N.Y., will supply its advanced Flue Gas Desulfurization technology for 2 X 300 MW coal-fired boilers at the Tangshan Power Plant, China, through its licensee, Zhejiang Feida Environmental Co. The technology uses wet limestone and a Ventri-rod spray tower to achieve 95 percent-plus dioxide removal and produce gypsum as the final waste product. See www.ducon.com

Eisenmann Corp., Crystal Lake, Ill., was selected to install its patented Valveless Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (VRTO) at General Motors’ Oklahoma plant in response to tornado damage to the plant in May. Eisenmann’s project design team was able to minimize plant downtime while providing a VRTO that serves as an economical answer to VOC abatement. See www.eisenmann.com.

Industrial Scientific Corp., Oakdale, Pa., has earned the newest ISO standard, ISO9001:2000 registration. The company’s Quality Management System is registered as compliant with the new standard, which focuses on quality and customer satisfaction. Niton LLC, Billerica, Mass., has released two new OSHA methods that detail the performance of Niton 700 Series analyzers for testing lead on air filters and dust wipes. OSA1 details the 700 Series analyzer’s performance for lead on air filters as collected from personal sampling pumps. OSS1 details the analyzers performance for lead on dust wipe samples collected from the interior of the pump cassettes and other possibly contaminated surfaces.
