Purafil Inc.
The company has increased the removal capacity of its Chlorosorb dry-scrubbing media, the primary component of its emergency gas scrubbers. For every 100 pounds of accidentally released chlorine, the enhanced Chlorosorb Ultra media removes 15 pounds of the gas. The media allows a more compact, cost-effective, chlorine-gas emergency scrubber, and can convert some problematic wet scrubbers into dry-chemical scrubbers.
