Test results on the company’s new high-capacity Mist Eliminator revealed up to a 30-percent gain in liquid loading capacity due to advanced liquid drainage with no loss in efficiency. It features perforations in the lower portion of the mist eliminator to build in preferential gas flow channels. The manufacturer explains that these channels reduce premature flooding caused by competing flows of gas and liquid drainage for the same areas in the bottom of the pad.
