William K. Reilly

Former EPA Administrator William K. Reilly has joined the Board of Directors for Enviance, Carlsbad, Calif. Reilly served the agency from 1989 to 1993 under President George H. W. Bush, and also has served as president of both the World Wildlife Fund and Conservation Foundation, as an executive director of the Rockefeller Task Force on Land Use and Urban Growth, director of the National Geographic Society, and as the first Payne Visiting Professor at Stanford University’s Institute for International Studies. Reilly is a founding partner of Aqua International Partners LP, and has been a director at DuPont since 1993.

Reilly is scheduled as the keynote speaker at Envision 2007, the annual Enviance user conference taking place April 23-26 in San Diego.



Russ Komline

Russ Komline, president of Komline-Sanderson Engineering Corp., Peapack, N.J., was presented the coveted James C. Morriss Member Achievement Award at the 98th Annual Meeting of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association in San Diego. The award was created to recognize outstanding achievement in serving the interests of the association. “Russ embodies the meaning of this award and is very deserving of this recognition,” said Chuck Miller, 2006 WWEMA Chairman. “His hard work and support of WWEMA has been and will be important for the continued growth of our Association.” Komline served as WWEMA’s Chairman in 2000 and remains an active member of its board of directors.





John S. Parrish

John S. Parrish has been named president of the Dresser Roots Blower and Compressor business, headquartered in Houston. Parrish joined the company in 1982 as an applications engineer and has served in a variety of sales and management positions throughout his career. He also has served on the board of directors of the Compressed Air and Gas Institute and was chairman of the blower section of that organization.



Tom Parker

Tom Parker, P.E., BCEE, was recently appointed president of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) at WASTECON, the association’s annual conference and tradeshow, held this year in Charlotte, N.C. A principal engineer and solid waste practice leader with CDM, Parker is based in Albuquerque, N.M. He has more than 20 years of experience specializing in permitting, design and construction of landfill, transfer station and processing facility projects.


Ann M. Michalski

Ann M. Michalski, a professional wetland scientist with Northern Environmental Technologies Inc., has been recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as a Professional Assured Wetland Delineator in the state. Michalski is one of only five professionals in the State of Wisconsin to obtain this status with the DNR. Professional assurance signifies that Michalski’s high-quality wetland delineation work meets training and professional standards established by the DNR. Michalski has nearly a decade of experience in wetland delineation, permitting and managing land development projects.


Michael F. Dacey

Michael F. Dacey, P.G., L.S.P., was recently named a senior associate at environmental consulting and engineering firm GeoInsight Inc., Manchester, N.H. Previously, Dacey spent seven years with the company as a senior hydrogeologist. With 20 years of experience, he provides clients with technical expertise in geology and hydrogeology; evaluation, selection and implementation of remedial alternatives, and pertinent state and federal regulations. Dacey is an active member of the National Ground Water Association and the Association of Massachusetts Licensed Site Professionals.
