Award-winning Solar
Powered Groundwater Remediation System consists of Abanaki’s PetroXtractor,
which includes a motor, solar panel, timer, battery, battery box and control
components. Typical applications are remediating oil contamination from
groundwater using existing monitoring wells in remote areas. Belt types depend
upon the viscosity of oil collected. Packages can be configured with the basics
up to vapor-tight units with timers and float switch controls.  The
system can remove up to 12 gph of oil from water and can be installed in well
casings with a 2 inch inside diameter.  Unit
elevates skimmed oil 100 feet or more.  Watch
