The PG-250 is being used successfully to perform these tests at multiple locations to evaluate pollutants in the operation of boilers, process heaters, and I.C. engines. The analyzer takes samples directly from the flue gas stream for evaluation, and the results indicate whether or not the fuel is being burned efficiently. The PG-250 employs proven and acceptable technologies for gas measurements, namely, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) and chemiluminescence detectors (CLD). The unit also has a built-in sample conditioner which includes thermal-electric cooler, filters, and sample pump. All that is required to operate the analyzer is a 110 volt AC power source. The unit weighs only 37 lbs., and the dimensions are 10.2 inches H x 10.2 inches W x 20.1 inches D. The instrument incorporates five analytical benches, sample pump, and sample conditioning system with thermoelectric cooler for compliance testing of NO
