STOP Vapor Intrusion

Geo-Seal, from Land Science Technologies, is a chemical resistant, sub-slab, vapor intrusion barrier that protects indoor air quality from potentially harmful vapors caused by subsurface contamination.

Environmental Management Degree Programs

At the University of Maryland University College, the instructors not only teach but do. They are actively involved in the actual environmental management activities.

A Unique MBR Time-Managed Process

This unique design handles wastewater liquids in less space than other comparable volume treatment systems.

Performance Based Remediation Technology

There are thousands of contaminated sites across our country. Greg Gumble, host of Our Planet, introduces ERFS on his television show. Learn about the company’s unique process for applying their proprietary cleanup methods using a totally performance driven program. This results oriented approach to remediation saves money and time as they work with their clients to find win-win solutions that removes and destroys contaminates so the problems do not reoccur.

Enviromarketing

Reach the environmental market using a variety of tools. Find out how by watching this video.

OdoWatch® Technology for the Water and Wastewater Industry

Foul odors can have a huge impact on nearby people. Odotech has developed the OdoWatch® system. The system uses sensors called e-noses to wirelessly communicate with a weather station. Information is compiled by a computer and a display continuously informs the workers if an odor is emanating from their facility to allow the technicians to take proper action.

Automatically Fix Air Locks in Metering Pumps

Ever experienced an airlock in your chemical feed system? This simple problem can quickly shut down critical systems. Neptune introduces its ARPZ Pump that automatically removes any air bubbles from the system and continues operating with no loss or downtime. The technology is adaptable for pump volumes up to 9 gallons per hour.

Oil Skimmers Inc.

Floating oil on water can be difficult to remove efficiently. Sopping it up with messy rags or absorbent pillows is labor intensive and expensive. Oil Skimmer can solve that problem with a device that continuously pulls the oil off the top of the water and collects it for recycling or easy disposal.

Haz Waste Solidification/Stabilization

Cement-based solidification/stabilization is an established technology for treating a wide variety of waste and contaminated materials. Redevelopment of old industrial sites or Brownfields often starts with environmental cleanup. When cement is mixed into waste or contaminated soil, it acts as a binding agent to immobilize the contaminants. The Portland Cement Assoc. has provided a video describing how the process works and how the technology saved tens of thousands of dollars at a single project.

ABUTEC’s Mine Gas Incinerator
Traditionally, mines will vent methane from the underground formations. This unburned hydrocarbon has a 21 times more harmful effect on the environment than CO2, the traditional measuring tool of regulations and advocates. By combusting the methane in ABUTEC’s Mine Gas Incinerator, more than 99.99% of the hydrocarbons are converted into CO2 and water.
